What is mSpy?

mSpy is a mobile monitoring application and system. It discreetly records cell phone activity which includes call history, texts messages, IM chats, calendar information. It also records phone's surroundings and determines GPS locations.

The purpose of mSpy is to monitor your employees and underage children from their smartphone or tablet. You are required to notify device users they are being monitored.

How does mSpy work?

You need to install the application on the device you wish to monitor.

To install mSpy, you need 5 to 10 minutes of time with the targeted device. But once the app is installed, you can check the information mSpy sends you remotely from your personal account.

mSpy works in stealth mode. This means it will not generate pop-ups or make any indication it is on the targeted device. You will not have to request updates because mSpy uses an Internet connection to transfer any information to your account.

Does mSpy work worldwide, with any mobile network carrier?

Yes! As long as there is an Internet connection, our tracking software will work with any cellular carrier and in any location the targeted device may be. The internet connection is need in order to transfer data to you to your personal account.

What devices are supported by mSpy?

mSpy is compatible with smartphones and tablets that operate on the following:

  • Android 2.2+
  • BlackBerry (lower than 10 series)

Is the application invisible?

mSpy is invisible to the target. It will not show pop-ups, logs stored or display icons on the targeted device. It will actually appear under different names in the application database (system processes). So you won't have to worry about being discovered while tracking someone else.

Is it legal to use mSpy?

It is legal to use mSpy but only under these conditions:

  1. If you are a parent using mSpy to watch over your underage children.
  2. If you are an employer who gives cell phones as a work tool for your employees. You must let employees know that the work phone have cell phone monitoring technology on it and you must get get permission from workers to monitor and record them.

However, this is not legal advice and you will have to contact your locate government for laws pertaining to cellular monitoring.

You must obtain permission to install surveillance software on a mobile device to remain under federal or state law in most places. You must also inform people with the software on the cell phones that they are being monitored. If you should not to let people know, you are doing it at your own risk and might compromise any legal case.

Do I need physical access to the target device to install mSpy?

Yes, you will need only 5-10 minutes of physical access to the target phone during mSpy installation. Once installed, mSpy will start sending a log of cell activity to your personal account at http://mspyonline.com.

How to install mSpy?

No matter what your computer skill level, installing mSpy is an easy process. As soon as payment is received, you can log into your mSpy account by following the simple log in details from your confirmation email. How can I uninstall mSpy?

Go to the Help section of your account. You will be guided in the process of taking mSpy off of the targeted device. If are a Premium user, Live Support will be a valuable service for you in this process. They can give you the grade A Customer Service so you can easily remove the app from the targeted phone.

Where can I check the captured data?

You can check mSpy on your own device remotely as soon as the targeted device is authorized. All information from the tacked phone will be uploaded to the Control Panel on your personal account. Check out how mSpy Control Panel will look by pressing View Demo.

What happens after the purchase?

As soon as your payment is processed, please check your email inbox. Make sure you check both Inbox and Spam folders. You will receive two emails: one from the billing company, confirming your payment, and the other is the welcoming mSpy email. The latter will contain the necessary link to your personal online Control Panel (data storage) and your login credentials. Simply follow the link and log in to your account.

Once you’re in, you’ll see the Wizard that will guide you through the installation procedure.

I no longer want to use mSpy. How do I get a refund?

You may be eligible for a full refund should you not be happy with mSPy. You have 10 days following your purchase to request a refund according to the mSpy Refund Policy conditions. Make sure you consult Customer Support first to take full advantage of what mSpy can offer.

When will mSpy update info and how often?

mSpy updates according to its update interval. You will set how often mSpy connects to the server to make an update and transfer information to you. However, setting updates for less than 10 minute intervals will drain the battery life of your devices.

Why does the target device require Internet connection?

That will be the only way your targeted device will able to send information to your remote Control Panel. It uses WiFi and 3G/4G Internet connections to collect that valuable information. This Internet connection does not have to be 24/7, but often enough to deliver the information you are seeking.

Can I track multiple devices?

You can only track one device per one Basic or Premium mSpy subscription. You can always change that one device at anytime or for as many times you wish. You will have to purchase separate subscriptions for a single device for up to four devices. Should you need more , it is recommended to subscribe to a business account to take advantage of saving of up to 70%.

I have an iPhone. Do I really need to jailbreak it to be able to install mSpy? What if it’s already jailbroken, how can I tell?

It is a must to jailbreak an iPhone to install mSpy. In case it is already jailbroken the Cydia icon appears on the Springboard and you won't have to jailbreak the iPhone again.

What happens if I jail break the device? Does jailbreaking void warranty? Can I unjailbreak the target iDevice to restore warranty?

Jailbreak voids the warranty of the target iDevice. Apple does not supoort mSpy as an app to purchase at this same time. You will have to install mSpy on the target iPhone/iPad by performing a jailbreak.

If you update your target device to the latest iSO version after installing mSpy, it will restore the warranty.

Will jailbreak be visible after the connection with iTunes, iCloud?

The jail broken device will not show anything questionable on iTunes or iCloud. The target user will still be able to download media and applications from iTunes and use iCloud in regular mode without any problems

What is rooting? Will I have to root an Android device to use mSpy?

Rooting is simply the process of allowing users of smart phones and tablets running the Android operating system to attain first hand control (known as root access) within Android's subsystem.

Rooting is required if you wish to track non-default applications such as WhatsApp, Facebook, Viber, Skype, and Gmail (only available to Premium account holders).

Will rooting my Android void the warranty?

That depends on the Android device being targeted and the rooting method used. Rooting certain Android devices might cause you to lose your warranty. You might be able to restore your warranty by unrooting the device.

Is there a way for me to tell there is spy software on my smartphone?

We do not have a way to detect spyware products on mobile devices.

Can you help me track the phone by its number?

No. We do not provide tracking-by-phone-number services. You must install the app directly onto the device. In order to track a particular smartphone, please make sure that it is compatible with mSpy and subscribe to our services.

My mobile device is lost. What should I do? Can mSpy help me find it?

Yes, you can find your target device using our app. But only if mSpy was installed on the device before the incident and the Internet connection is active.

Is there a desktop version of mSpy available?

mSpy Desktop application is on its final stage of development. You will be able to track basic computer activities and view screen shots Just like the mobile app, it will capture data and send it to your mSpy Control Panel.
